PRAIA DE SUPERTUBOS, Peniche, Portugal (Sunday, March 6, 2022) – Stop No. 3 on the World Surf League (WSL) 2022 Championship Tour (CT), the MEO Pro Portugal presented by Rip Curl has been called back ON, starting at 7:32 a.m GMT with the remaining heats of the men’s Round of 32 at Supertubos.
The surf is pumping on the morning of Day 4, with six-to-eight foot surf and light offshore winds at dawn.
Up first in the water will be the remaining heats of the men’s Round of 32, starting with local hero Frederico Morais (PRT) up against Ezekiel Lau (HAW). WSL Champions John John Florence (HAW) and Kelly Slater (USA) will surf in Heat 12 and Heat 16 respectively.
The men’s Round of 16 will follow and event officials have placed both the men and women’s Quarterfinals on standby for a potential start later in the day.
