Surf News Network,  WOW! One of the largest great whites ever seen appears in a recent video posted by Mauricio Hoyos Padilla. The shark, named Deep Blue, is one of the biggest great white sharks ever caught on film.

The diver in the video exits the cage at one point and reaches out to the shark, at first pushing it away by the fin, but then pausing to hold onto the great beast. What was the diver thinking? we can only guess, but he felt secure enough to leave the relative safety of the the diving cage.

Guadalupe Island off of Baja is home to a great white pit stop as they traverse the west coast of the United States.
