Mrod: A massive storm with a straight track towards Hawai’i created an XXL swell that slammed the islands.

Unfortunately, unfavorable winds came with the 25ft swell which created unruly conditions out at Jaws.

Onshore conditions with lots of rain and wind made it really challenging for everyone who dared to challenge the out-of-control seas.

Here are a few of the highlights from two days at XXL Jaws.

This could possibly be the last swell of the big wave season.

Everyone was charging even though the conditions weren’t the greatest, but there were a few windows of opportunity that made for a few epic moments.
