There are certain sections of the wave where different rail turns are preferable, however pushing the boundaries often leads to fast & radical progression – hence our reference in this video to none other than JJF surfing at Margies in the 2017 contest.
We also talk about the old school but still wildly relevant roundhouse cutback, with a breakdown of Taylor Knox, arguably one of the best in the world at the maneuver, at lower trestles in California.
