2018 is the third International Year of Reef and the incredible Heather Brown Art worked with our JKA theme “Revive the Reef” to create yet another spectacular piece of art ?. Heather has year after year donated her creative energy to our awards show and her publisher Black Sand Publishing continues to support by creating the renderings for our silent auction and doing so much behind the scenes to help make these events successful.

Under the waves  there is such a vital ecosystem shaping our very existence that often times goes under-noticed. Our work on plastic pollution, water quality, stormwater, cesspools, etc. are critically important to working towards reviving our reefs and bringing awareness to that life that exists outside of most of our day to day vision. Heather Brown went outside her normal comfort zone to create this image and we couldn’t be prouder to share it with the world.
