A great day of comp in 6-8+ Pipe until the onshore winds and Ehukai current caused final heat to go on hold at about 345pm HI time.   Talk about stacked heats. This could be a final and its just the beginning. But take a look at the next and next and next heat! The main rounds and top seeds will have 2 of the 4 surfers above to contend with.  The LARGE NW Wednesday will very likely wash out all breaks except Waimea and outer reefs. Even Thursday is likely to be too big. But as always when predicting mother nature, lets wait and see each morning. SNN.
